Turn and Go
The Turn and Go feature has been specially developed to allow for the installation of stairlifts on even the narrowest of staircases. Proprietary to Handicare, the Turn and Go option ensures that your knees won’t collide with the opposite banister or handrail by swiveling your seat out of the way as your ride the lift.
Instead of traveling with your back facing the wall or handrail as with all other stairlifts, the Turn and Go feature automatically swivels your seat forward so that your back is facing the staircase. In doing so, your knees will avoid colliding with the opposite handrail or banister.
The Turn and Go feature is also a convenient option for tall riders or for those who have difficulty bending their knees to fit within the available stair width.
