Straight Stairlift | 950+

As the name suggests, the 950+ incorporates all of the standard features of the 950, but with the option of upgrading to a host of useful powered options.

The powered footrest option automatically folds up the footrest at the touch of a button. Whether you have difficulty bending or you plan to park it near the top of the stairs, this is a great safety feature for all users to avoid having to bend down and manually fold the footrest or keep it unfolded and cause a potential tripping hazard.

You may also choose to upgrade to a powered swivel option. By simply holding the toggle control toward the landing when you arrive, the seat will swivel so you are facing the landing to disembark toward it rather than getting on/off the lift sideways.

The 950+ can be equipped with our versatile Smart Seat. Available in 6 easy-clean, anti-slip upholstery options, not only can you adjust its height and depth, but you can also add in arm spacers to ensure the perfect fit for every rider.

Slide track: Similar to a powered hinge, the Slide Track works automatically when the toggle or remote control is activated.

Smart Seat

We don’t believe that the seat on your stairlift is just for sitting. We understand that everyone has a unique set of needs and preferences that ensure they have a comfortable ride, every time. As a result, we developed the Smart Seat – our most versatile design that provides users an array of options and upgrades.

We ensure that the seat is fitted just for you with fully adjustable settings for height, width and depth. Should you prefer to upgrade to a powered swivel or attach a body harness, the Smart Seat easily allows you to do so.

Easy-to-clean and maintain, the Smart seat will also look great in your home. A leather-grain finish with six color options to choose from, this durable seat is also water-resistant and extremely easy to clean. Our popular Perch seat also muses its design off of the Smart seat.

Available Options

Body Harness: For those who may require extra support and stability as they ride the stairlift.
Powered swivel seat: When you arrive at the top of the stairs, you will need to swivel your seat round so that you exit onto the landing safely.
Powered footrest: This option removes the need for you to bend down to fold or unfold the footrest.

Perch seat

Ideal for those with knee or hip flexion problems, the Perch seat alleviates the need to sit down each time you want to ride your stairlift. Less deep and higher than a traditional seated system, it allows you to use the stairlift without needing to attain a fully seated position – instead, you will be in a nearly standing position, using the half seat for support.

The Perch seat can also be a solution for narrow staircases where standard stairlift seats do not have the clearance or knees may collide with the opposite rail’s bannister.
