If you need additional safety measures on your stairlift we have a range of safety options.
Additional safety options on our stairlifts
Besides the standard safety features, your Handicare stairlift can be fitted with the following additional safety options:
4-point belt: This special seat belt provides additional stability as it is anchored at four points. The seat belt is easy to use and is particularly suited to people who suffer from involuntary muscle spasms. It is available on all Freelift Classic and Elegance seats, plus the following Minivator stairlift models, for a modest additional cost: Simplicity+, Minivator 1000, Minivator 2000. - Auto-swivel seat: The seat turns automatically to face the landing, making it easier to get on and off. This feature is available on all Freelift Classic and Elegance seats, and all Minivator stairlift models.
Auto-fold footplate: The footplate folds away in one smooth, easy action, without you having to bend over. It also gives more room on your stairs. This feature is available on all straight stairlift models, as well as the curved Minivator 2000 system and the Freelift Classic and Elegance seats.
